Petzl Helsinki Night Trail 2026 will be run on 10.4.2026

Distance: about 13k
Competitive series: Men, Women
In addition there is a series for other-gender.
TIMING AND MAXIMUM RUNNING TIME
Electronic timing system will be used. Please place the bib number on your chest on the front and keep it visible especially when arriving at the finish, in order to get your time.
Maximum running time is 2,5 hours.
CUT OFF:
Runners must have the CUT OFF points, at the refreshment point, in maximum time in order to be able to get a time from their race. Exact timer for CUT OFF will be announced closer to the event. Being late for these CUT OFF points will result in the race being stopped and the runner being transported back to the event area.

On the outbound route CUT OFF 1 at 21:25 (at approx. 3.6 km), on the return route CUT OFF 2 at 22:35 (at approx. 9.0 km).

START AND FINISH
The start and finish line of Petzl Helsinki Night Trail is located under the auditorium of the Helsinki Olympic Stadium (Paavo Nurmen tie 1, Helsinki)

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Every runners have to have the headlamp on the race. It is also a good to have a spare battery or accumulator with you.
The organizer does not rent lamps at the event.
REGISTRATION
Registration to 2026 event is open! Click here to registration.
You can also do late registration for the event at the race office on the day of the event.
LATE REGISTRATION
Late registration is possible at the race office on race day.
RACE OFFICE AND BIB NUMBERS
Race office and bag storage are located in the Helsinki Olympic Stadium (Paavo Nurmen tie 1, Helsinki).
At the race office you can pick up your bib number and make a late registration. You can also pick up your friends bib numbers. The race office is open on the race day.
You will receive your running number by email before the race office opens. Please be ready to show this email to the race office staff when picking up your bib number. If you don’t receive the information about your number (do also check your spam folder), you will get it by your name from the race office on race day.
IF YOU WITHTDRAW FROM THE RACE
Please inform someone of the route supervisors or another person from the race organization about your withdrawal. If you have withdrawn from the race, do not come close to the finish gate with your race number.
FIRST AID
First aid is available in the finish line area.
In serious case, the emergency number is 112.
REFRESHMENT STATION
There will be one hydration station on the route, offering water and sports drink.
At the finish line we offer water and sports drink and well as other refreshments from our partners.
CHANGING ROOMS AND TOILETS
There will be changing rooms, toilets and showers available for runners at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
PARKING AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
There are paid parking areas near the Olympic Stadium. The event is also well served by public transport. See the timetables from HSL-reittiopas.

RIGHTS TO PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
Event organizer will have full rights to publish the photos and video material taken during the event. We will also release pictures and videos in our social media channels.
CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION
No cancellations of participation are required. The organizator will not refund paid participation fees.
TRANSFER OF PARTICIPATION
If transfer insurance has not been acquired at the time of registration, the customer has the right to transfer the registration for the event to another person for a transfer fee of 10 euros, but not the right to transfer the registration to another event or to the following year.
The organizer will not refund paid registration fees under any circumstances.
1. Transfer to another person
You can transfer your participation to another person (until 3.4.2026) for a transfer fee of 10 euros.
Note: Registration paid with sport vouchers cannot be transferred to another person.
2. Transfer to next year’s Petzl Helsinki Night Trial (requires transfer insurance)
If the participant has purchased transfer insurance at the time of registration, it is possible to transfer participation to next year’s event by 9.4.2026.
3. Transfer to another event (requires transfer insurance)
If the participant has purchased transfer insurance at the time of registration, it is possible to transfer the entry for another Runner’s High event (until 9.4.2026). After the transfer request your registration will be cancelled, and you will get a discount code worth the same amount of money you paid for your registration.
How can I transfer my participation?
When transferring your participation to another event or person, or to next year, please contact tapahtumat@runhigh.fi with the following information:
- Name of the original participant
- Name of the person who will make the new registration (if participation will be transferrer to another person)
- To which event the transfer will be made
After the transfer request you will get more detailed instructions by email.
